Breaking: Vipers Sports Club appoint Alex Isabirye as their new Head Coach

Vipers SC are pleased to announce the appointment of Alex Isabirye Musongola as their new head coach from  BUL FC.

Few days after sacking Coach Roberto Luiz Bianchi, the Uganda Premier league defending champions have quickly replaced him with experienced Isabirye to drive the club forward.

Immediately after his unveiling, Isabirye revealed that; “ I am incredibly proud and excited to represent Vipers Sports Club, this fantastic football club. I am very excited to be here and look forward to meeting and working with the exciting group of players and to develop a team and culture that our amazing fans can be proud of.”

The 2021/2022 Uganda Cup winning coach Alex Isabirye will be working alongside other coaches; Richard Wasswa, Ibrahim Mugisha and Kato Ibrahim in trying to rejuvenate the performance of the club.

Isabirye is one of the most experienced coaches in Ugandan football having managed different clubs such URA FC which he guided to the 2010/2011 league title, the Bell Uganda Cup and Super Cup in 2012 respectively.

Besides URA, he has also coached clubs like BUL FC, Victoria University, Kyetume FC, Soana FC, Busoga United FC and Horseed FC in Somalia.

Alex Isabirye finds Vipers in a purely struggling moment in the Uganda Premier league and CAF Champions league respectively, having failed to win any of their last seven games.

His first match as the Venoms Coach will come on Tuesday  14th, March 2023 against Wakiso Giants in the Stanbic Uganda Cup.
